Armfield, Miller & Ripley Fine Properties is an independently owned and locally run real estate firm. Unlike other firms in the Virginia Countryside, AMRFP is not the local extension of a national or regional franchise organization. In keeping with its "carriage-trade" orientation, AMRFP is lean and efficient, and this includes its management team and support staff.
Thomas B. Anderson, Managing Partner
Tom has worked in the luxury sector of residential real estate for over 25 years, 23 of those years with Sotheby's International Realty in New York City and Washington, D.C. Joining Sotheby's in its founding stages, Tom helped build Sotheby's into a world-renowned luxury real estate brand. A licensed Real Estate Broker in four states and the District of Columbia, Tom personally achieved many of the highest and most important residential sales on the East Coast. While the Real Estate Division was under the ownership of Sotheby's Auction House, Tom served on its Executive Committee, the strategic operating body responsible for establishing Sotheby's International Realty as a luxury real estate leader.
Upon the sale of Sotheby's International Realty to the Cendant franchise organization in 2004, Tom elected to join his partners at Washington Fine Properties, where he was a Founding Partner in 1999. In 2005, WFP and AMRFP merged their operations. Tom now serves as President of WFP and Managing Partner of AMRFP, acting as chief spokesperson for both firms, building their national and international affiliations with important real estate networks, and working day to day on agent development within the firms. He also currently heads the firm's FINE PROPERTIES INTERNATIONAL program.
Anita Sisney, Principal Broker
Anita has been a licensed real estate agent in the Virginia Countryside for over 20 years, earning the highest respect and admiration of her fellow colleagues and the community. Anita has represented many of the most important offerings in the market, including the sale of Llangollen in 2007, which set the record for the highest residential sale in the State of Virginia.
Anita's exceptional experience and vast knowledge of both real estate industry practices and the marketplace has positioned her as a leader and ultimately as the Principal Broker of Armfield, Miller, & Ripley Fine Properties. In addition to being Principal Broker, Anita continues to serve in a sales capacity representing both buyer and sellers throughout Virginia's Hunt Country.
Linda Triplett, Office Manager
Since 1981 Linda has managed the offices of Armfield, Miller, & Ripley Fine Properties. Over her 25+ years, Linda has worked closely with the founding partners of the firm in all facets of the business, orchestrated the administrative expansion of the firm during its merger with Washington Fine Properties, and has provided her unparalleled knowledge and experience to the day-to-day operations. Her experience together with her cordial and professional manner has allowed for the smooth and efficient operations which stand behind the success of Armfield, Miller & Ripley Fine Properties.
